Good to know
None of these changes can break your phone or delete anything. They only adjust how things look and sound. If you do not like a change, open the same path again and slide it back. Nothing here costs money.
Common questions
Will bigger text break my apps?
No. Bigger text only changes how words are displayed. Your apps, photos and messages stay exactly as they are. A few apps may show less on the screen at once, so you scroll a little more, but nothing is lost or damaged.
How do I undo a change?
Open the same settings path again and move the slider or switch back. For example, to make text smaller again, go back to Display, Text Size, and drag the slider to the left. Every change in this tool is reversible.
My phone or tablet is not listed here.
Most phones are either an iPhone or an Android phone, so pick the one closest to yours. Samsung and Google phones both count as Android. The menu names can differ slightly by model, but the path is almost always under Settings, then Display or Accessibility.
Can I make WhatsApp text bigger too?
Yes. When you make the text bigger in your phone settings, most apps including WhatsApp follow along. WhatsApp also has its own setting under Settings, Chats, Font size where you can choose Small, Medium or Large.
Why is the text still small in one app?
A few apps use their own fixed text size and ignore the system setting. In those cases, check inside that app for a text size or display option, often under its own Settings menu. The magnifier or zoom feature is a good backup for any app that stays small.
